A space to pause, reflect and reconnect

Reflections & Resources

Sometimes something you read lands at exactly the right moment.

A sentence helps you understand why you keep reacting in the same way. A different perspective gives you a little more breathing room.

Or perhaps you simply recognise yourself in someone else’s description and think, Oh… that makes sense.

This is a space for those moments.

A Little Space to Understand Yourself

Here I share reflections, therapeutic insights and practical guidance around self-love, emotional wellbeing, anxiety, relationships, recurring patterns and personal growth.

My work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change often begins when we become curious about what is happening underneath the surface, rather than judging ourselves for what we are feeling on top of it.

What if understanding yourself could begin with curiosity, rather than criticism?

If you are already wondering what kind of support might suit you, you can explore the different ways I can support you, including Transformational Self-Love Therapy, counselling and life coaching.

You do not need to read everything, analyse yourself endlessly or turn healing into another task on your to-do list.

Start wherever you feel drawn. Take what feels useful, leave what does not, and come back whenever you need a little space to reflect.

A Little About Me

There is a lot of wellbeing advice out there.

Some of it helpful. Some of it is good at making you feel as though you should be meditating at sunrise, journalling beautifully and having your entire nervous system sorted before breakfast!

That is not what this space is about.

I have over 10 years of professional experience supporting people through emotional challenges, personal growth and periods of change.

My background includes a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling, a Certificate in Transformational Self-Love Therapy and trauma-informed practice.

My approach is holistic and relational, which means I am interested in more than simply what you are thinking.

I pay attention to the connection between your thoughts, emotions, body, breath, relationships and the patterns that may have developed through your experiences.

If that way of working resonates with you, you can learn more about Transformational Self-Love Therapy.

Most importantly, I do not believe there are parts of you that need to be hidden away before you are worthy of compassion.

Sometimes the places we are most tempted to criticise are exactly the places asking to be understood.

Take What You Need

You may have arrived here because you are experiencing anxiety or overwhelm. Perhaps the same relationship patterns keep appearing. Maybe your confidence has taken a knock, or life simply feels heavier than you would like it to.

Anxiety & Overwhelm Finding a little more room to breathe.
Relationships & Patterns Understanding what keeps repeating.
Self-Love & Growth Meeting yourself with more kindness.

Or perhaps nothing is dramatically “wrong” at all.

You may simply have reached a point where you would like to understand yourself a little better.

Whatever has brought you here, I hope these reflections give you somewhere to slow down, take a breath and look at things from a slightly different angle.

Reading can be a wonderful place to begin. But sometimes there comes a point when understanding something intellectually is not quite the same as being able to shift it.

If you feel ready to explore what is happening for you more personally, I offer Transformational Self-Love Therapy, counselling and life coaching from my practice in Shoreham-by-Sea, with online support also available.

A free 15-minute consultation is available if you would like to talk through what you are experiencing and see whether working together feels right for you.
