Whatever is weighing on you

When Counselling May Feel Helpful

People seek emotional support for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes there is a clear event; sometimes it is simply a growing sense that something is not sitting right.

You may be experiencing:

Anxiety, worry or overthinking
Stress or emotional overwhelm
Low self-esteem or self-doubt
Relationship difficulties
Grief, loss or major life changes
Feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself

You do not need to be in crisis to begin. A quieter sense of “I don’t want to keep feeling like this” can be reason enough.

Room to reflect

What Sessions Can Offer

Counselling gives you room to slow down and explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences without judgement.

Rather than rushing towards a solution, we can become curious about what is happening and what you may need.

Sessions may help you notice recurring patterns, understand your responses more clearly, build self-awareness and find perspective during difficult periods.

My approach is relational and compassionate. We work together, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Finding what feels right

Counselling, Therapy & Finding the Right Fit

Counselling is often a good fit when you want steady emotional support, space for reflection and help making sense of current experiences.

If you are noticing long-standing or recurring patterns and feel ready to work more deeply with body awareness, breath and present-moment experience, you may also wish to explore Transformational Self-Love Therapy.

If you are unsure which route fits, you do not need to decide alone.

Experience with warmth

Counselling in Shoreham-by-Sea With a Human Approach

I bring over 10 years of professional experience alongside a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling, a Certificate in Transformational Self-Love Therapy, and trauma-informed training.

I also hold a Level 2 Group Facilitation qualification and a Level 3 Teaching Certificate, with experience supporting people in recovery and resilience settings.

This training allows me to combine reflective talking therapy with a broader understanding of emotional patterns, relationships, self-worth and embodied responses.

For me, good therapy is not about performing wellness. It is about creating enough safety to be honest, curious and human.

What Can I Talk About in a Session?

You can bring whatever feels most important to you. That might be anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief, stress, a recent change, or simply a sense that something feels off.

You do not need to organise it neatly beforehand. We can begin with what is present and explore it together.

Whenever you feel ready

Take a Steady First Step

If you are considering counselling in Shoreham-by-Sea, in Brighton or online you do not need to arrive with the perfect words or a complete understanding of what is wrong.

We can begin with what is here now and make space for the rest to unfold from there.

Sometimes that first conversation is enough to help things feel a little clearer and less heavy.
